I enjoyed the "Behind the big orange curtain" especially when Josh speaks of his "only friend" Sweeney, he's fun! I suppose the concert was beautiful, some of you had the opportunity to be present to a concert of the Awake Tour? Was it exciting as it seems on the DVD? Can you tell me about something fun or strange or exciting that happened before, during or after the concert? Did someone of you meet Josh when he sung "In her eyes" in the crowd? The concert i went to was alot smaller than seen on the awake live dvd...there were about just under 2000 people i think....this made it even more amazing..i was probably one of the youngest ones there which was cool....i almost didn't make it to the concert cuz i had gotten sick, but i made myself go cuz i knew i would regret it if i didn't go....anyway when i heard the heart beat of YAL i just about freaked out i couldn't believe i was at a josh groban concert...everything was just amazing...josh's voice was just perfect, better than the cd...the band was just incredible..they are just all so talented and the concert overall was just phenominal....highlights for me would be when josh touched my hand in 'in her eyes' (i had an aisle seat) and when i saw him coming i just freaked out..everybody was trying to reach out to him in my row but my mum made sure i got to touch his hand lol...um other highlights would be when josh did karoke..just hilarious..he sang snippets of tiny dancer, umbrella and another song....(if you youtube josh groban australia, there are videos of this happening..and also my two videos from me)....what else..oh one girl in the front row had a sign that said 'angelique called and said to dance' it was funny cuz nobody but the grobies new what that meant...i just started screaming at that point lol but he didn't dance for us....after the concert i was on a high for weeks and weeks so thats just a quick account im abit sketchy on the details cuz its been over a year and half since the concert lol but next tour i definately recommend you go..i know i will be Joshed on the 6th October 2007 @ Brisbane Concert Hall "Music is what i turn to when im feeling a certain way, its my reason for everything" JG

Thanks for sharing your experience! You made definitely the right choice when you went to the concert. He never came here in Italy for a concert (he isn't well-known here! ) and I hope so much that Italy will be one of the countries of his next tour. I totally get your excitement and joy, and no way do I want to spoil your experience or memories of getting that close to Josh, but please, EVERYONE, keep in mind that if you are SICK, well, you could make HIM sick, too, which could then cause thousands of fans to have their concerts postponed or cancelled, not to mention make Josh feel awful, both physically and sad about having to do that. I have read so many accounts of Grobies getting out of their sick beds to force themselves to his concerts that unwell with flu and colds, including those who won backstage passes to see him! One person said she was so sick it was such a struggle just to go online, but when she did she found out she won backstage passes for the next night and sure enough...she went, and met Josh! I know...when you are in that situation and the opportunity is right there in front of you, no way are you going to let it get past you, but...maybe at least in your next gift baskets to Josh, include some hand sanitizers or something! At least let him know you are sick and keep your distance, on his (and thousands of Grobies') behalf. You wouldn't expect less for yourself if it were other Grobies risking your concert (and his well being) who did that! *Creating Josh* Please HELP Restore these Meaningful Memories & Milestones for Josh *Integrity of the Heart: Not Selling Your Soul* for a Lesser Goal!!** Josh's extraordinary work requires a certain vulnerability among his listeners, the ability to allow oneself to feel, without fear, without anxiety. Selflessly protect that trust, and a world of opportunities await, for him, for them, for yourself!! Love him enough to keep it real!
