There was a time when Grobies were so open to helping other grobies. We all got together in many ways and sent an elderly couple to see Josh not once, but twice and also arranged for them to meet him. That was probably one of the best things I've seen in a very long time. But the Grobies have been hoodwinked as well by those who claim disabilities and hardships. I see where you are trying to get things together to help three grobies that you know for sure are in need and that is admirable. However, how will you screen future grobies and their needs? I definitely agree that in order to help, we must get together and help ONE- your idea for Siena's thread is not only admirable but sets a wonderful example for all of us. I'm happy and willing to help in any way I can, not only Siena but whoever else needs any kind of help. We who are better off (financially as well as emotionally etc.) have a duty towards others. I have been told this before but I felt it to be a burden. As time passes I am starting to realize how that person was right, and helping others is less and less of a burden to me. Teen Grobie, your Shantelle thread is magical and I have faith- you WILL get Shantelle to meet Josh- and that moment will define and re-define your entire life, as well as that of anyone involved. Now it's just crap. I know that if I meet Josh I'll need a ton of plastic surgery bc I'd scare the texture'y stuff right off his magic-armored Il Sole blue swtr I'm sure!! I'm getting very discouraged and pessimistic. I thk if it was gonna kill me, I wish it'd hurry up, there's no more to try, nothing more can be done, things jump in the way no matter what. I wouldn't go to WUAH now if I HAD to, the tone of the suggesters' posts were nasty and mean, all I want is to SMILE AT JOSH!!! And the stupid @#$% DEAD RELATIVES GOT MICHAEL! Now he's on the NEXT plain, so I know I'll never marry. I'm donefor, and I don't see anything good ever happening to me again, FOJG is even giving me fits!!! GRRRR I HATE MYSELF NOW! But I can't help but feel hurt that society hates ppl over 18 and wanna throw all us retards in a mental hospital and forget about us, that's everyone's solution, one reason I haven't gone for it again after they denied me. I don't want my insides messed w/ so no more like me are made, they say they stopped that, but I'm not so sure. I've just learned that if ur not a kid that's cute, ur a nobody p.o.s. not worth nothing but the dirt that Josh kicks off his shoes at night. I have been told this before but I felt it to be a burden. That is why I love the Eagles. They started out in 1904 as the "Order of Good Things" and they were a charity for helping people, not just kids, but over the yrs. they've done mostly for kids. U can read more at www.foe.com I think it will take u there. But I don't mind donating to charities that go to good causes, are varified and legitimate, and that don't hoodwink u out of a dollar. Yes I donate to them bc it does my heart good knowing we can send troops carepacks overseas, help ppl build their houses after a storm or help research Diabetes or any disease. I just wish I could have thought to talk to some of my friends who are in the Grand Auxiliary to see if there WAS a way to get help, and I'd gladly give back, donating my jewelry or crafts or hands to make or help whereever since I'm not real secure monetarily. I get by, that's why I make the jewelry, which u can see in my stuff thread, and a dollar of every sail goes to Cystic Fibrosis a/k/a "65 Roses", the Charity thru the Eagles that I'm head of. I thk Josh talked to FOJG bc now THAT part of thgs are looking up, I have to re-new but I can do that just as soon as I get recredited. I also sold some jewelry too, now just waiting for money orders to come and then I can buy Supplies to make and send them off. I'm happy, but hopefully I can put some $$$ back in the bank since I had to buy some stickers on my Kodack Gallery Photo's from being deleted. And that's OK I only have to spend $5.00/yr as long as I don't go over a certain ammount of space, so I hopefully wont, maybe I'll delete some non-essental pics. But the FOJG part made me feel a whole lot better, who wants to go to a gym w/ a paid-up membership to have the doors be locked on u?? LOL!! But I still know that the only ones that will ever want me is Josh and Frodo, since Michael went to the next plain and left the physical one. I still have him w/ me, but just not physically. He's made of new Zanny that can walk thru walls now, so he can and DOES come see me, he knows how dysfunctional this family really is.
