Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish. Your concern for the well-being and safety of everyone involved is commendable. I'm sure with the perseverance of team Josh and the patience of the fans, any disappointment and sadness resulting from this difficult decision will be replaced by joy and an enriching experience for all when the tour is able to be rescheduled to beautiful South Africa. |

Even though I wasn't going; I have felt so bad for everyone involved ever since the announcement was made. Most of all it's sad for the fans travelling
from abroad since it's too late for them to reschedule or get their money back. I hope those choosing to go will have a nice trip anyway, despite missing
out of the highlights which were supposed to be Josh's concerts. For the fans in SA I hope they will get to go to the concerts when they actually do take
place. As someone who has travelled to see Josh several times; I can so easily relate to the situation and getting information straight from Josh is the best
possible way to make people feel at least a little better. Josh; thanks for posting and explaining things yourself! That shows everyone once again what we
already knew; how much you care about your fans! I am sure getting word straight from you is a comfort to the fans who were supposed to attend the concerts. I
am sorry this happened to you as well and I hope things will work out soon for the rescheduling! We'll always love you; not only for your music but for
showing care and consideration like you just did with your post! Thank you!

to be honest josh, when i saw the title of this thread, i got really, really scared. my imagination started going nuts on me with terrible things that could
have happened. and a terrible thing did happen but i am so relieved that you ad your family and band are all OK and that the trip can indeed be rescheduled.

Hi Pam. ! Oh 2 Grobies from the US going to SA were both given the opportunity to use their tickets at another time......with some extra money for the change,
so I thought that always happened. ! Our tickets are usually non refundable especially if they are cheap, which most of us bought! Anyway its Ok now. I'm
glad I'm still going and so glad that we heard from Josh. What a lovely man he is and also I forgot to say how great to hear from Lindy too. Gosh it was
even worse for then ...they were leaving in a few days. We were leaving next Saturday....sorry we are leaving next Saturday. !

Josh,
I have seen your Awake concert tour...twice and I must say that both times I was awestruck. When you put on a show, you go all out and I was impressed. So I can only imagine how much postponing this part of the tour hurts you so much. I know that you do not want the fans put at risk and that your reasons for postponing the tour are very important. When you do go, I'm sure the fans will like what they see and be all the more impressed by it because of the wait. You and your family will still get to see the work that has gone on down there through your charity. Just one favor to ask of you though: when you go down there and visit places: take LOTS and LOTS of pictures for those of us who can't be there. We all want to see what you see and the work that has gone on. We have grown to love South Africa because you love it and we have become invested in it. So PLEASE take pictures. THANKS!! Thank you so much for your messages!!! As you can see they have been appreciatevly received by those that were most affected, and by the rest of us too. What a heart wrenching decision this must have been for you; but as you stated, out of the ashes of the anger, frustration and dissappointment will come something great. though. Hopefully they can help out down there by volunteering while they are there.

Hi Josh and Lindy! I'm sorry about whatever made you postpone the tour and I'm really glad it is scheduled to continue. I've never seen you say you
were angry...but it's very good you did it in a positive way. That's the Josh Groban I know.
I really hope everything is all right. When I read your
post I got really scared. Thanks for posting and, again, I hope everything is and will be all right and thanks for being you! I love you so much Josh!

By the way, I think the SA in your title means South Africa. I thought it was a typo at first, like you put it in caps by mistake.

I've always admired you, but your post almost made me weep in amazement. In a world full of immaturity (and believe me I know--being 16 and in high school will expose you to quite a dose of childishness  ), you really are a
welcome contrast. Very few would sacrifice as much as you did for the well-being of others. Think of this situation as just another way to prove your good

I'm sure you and your team are terribly disappointed and frustrated. But, your fans will wait for you. I know if something like this happened to me,
I'd just make adjustments and wait anxiously for you to be able to come when the time is right. Thank you SO MUCH for your honesty and heartfelt regrets.
