You are a true gentleman and Lindy, you're a class act as well. sending encouraging hugs you way. to all the syuth african fans, Hugs from the gribanites and we can't wait for you to finally see josh live. it WILL be worth the wait..josh will see to that. There is nothing but sadness and disappointment and anger all around. I'm happy to read that you are already moving toward channelling your anger into creating something positive for your fans. I hope that every person affected by this can find a way to do that also. Lindy, your words are wrenching and encouraging all at once. I'm sorry for this last-minute development and look forward to the time when you can make your dream trip a reality. My thoughts are with all my fellow fans affected by this. As an ex teacher I always love to spent time with children so some good has come out of this. !! Stuff happens, and you can't foresee every possibility. You do your best and have to depend that the others you trust will do the same...If they don't, that isn't YOUR fault. So channel that energy into a positive direction, live and learn (as we all will from this, I'm sure), and do not beat yourself up over it. You have friends here and you are loved, kiddo. Last October my husband and I flew from Ohio to California to attend a conference. Checked Monday morning before our flight left to make sure the conference was still "a go". All was good. Conference was to start on Wednesday morning. Tuesday afternoon, at 4pm, they canceled our conference because of the fires in California. We were already there. Had airline tickets to return to Ohio on Sunday. Contacted the airlines (our plans had changed and it wasn't our doing) and we were told if we wanted to go home early to buy another ticket! Sometimes even "Acts of God" don't get you a refund!

As it's been said in a beautiful novel (and movie) "Love means never having to say you're sorry" and despite the deception, I'm quite sure that nobody is angry with you. Even though I'm not going to South Africa (a little bit far from Paris...),but a friend of mine has planned to go to Durban and Bloemfontein and I can imagine how the Grobanites, the band, your family and yourself must feel and I don't know what to say except that I'm really sorry for what happened to all of you. Moreover, I'd like to let you know that I admire your ability to remain optimistic, I think it will help to see these next days a little bit less grey . After all, tomorrow is another day. I wish you good luck for everything.... By the way, I'd like to thank your mother for posting, too.
