Sinänsä hauska että tuosta tulee hobitti mieleen, koska muutamalta tutulta olen saanu kuulla että Josh heidän mielestään muistuttaa hobittia, joten.. ööö... Noh, pidetään peukkuja että kääntäjä osaa hommansa. Yleisesti ottaen Simpsoneiden käännökset ei itse asiassa ole ollu hullumpia. Pahimpaan kategoriaan valuu kaikki talk show't. Conan O'Brienia ei voi enää ollenkaan kattoa tekstityksellä kun sillä nykyisellä kääntäjällä ei oo minkäännäköistä pelisilmää eikä ymmärrä simppeleimpiäkään vitsejä. Itku ja vaiva. Hyvähän se täältä on huudella ilman mitään alan tutkintoa (vielä).

Kaapelikanavalla 8 (Liv) alkaa maanantaina klo 22 The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Uusinnat tiistaina klo 7, 12 ja 17. Kanavan nettisivujen mukaan ohjelma esitetään viikon viipeellä, joten viikon viive tarkoittaa tässä tapauksessa, että ohjelma alkaa jaksosta, joka esitettiin 9.2. eli just siitä, missä Josh laulaa duettonsa Ellenin kanssa. Sitä joutuu parkkeeraamaan sohvalle maanantaina viheltelee

Caught the Grobanitis I think in September when I looked the Live on Abbey Road I had recorded on our Digibox. I know a friend who has it too, she had it before me and she had mentioned Josh sometime so his name was familiar on the program info and wanted to see who he was. Just needed to see/hear February Song and I was infected. It's really contagious. It would be great if Josh would visit our beautiful country. Though I study at university in Nottingham, UK, so I'd want Finland's tour date to be on either Christmas, Easter or summer holiday. Or that he would come to Nottingham during term time. xD Or the best case scenario, which I think will happen only in my dreams, would be having one tour date in Nottingham during term time and then in Finland when going home for holiday.

You're studying in Nottingham? I'm curious to know what you're studying. It'd be a dream come true to have him perform here but hey, you're able to see him in UK cause he'll have many concerts there for sure. In Manchester and London during the last tour if I remember correctly... Manchester is not far from Nottingham.

Yeap, I'm studying in Nottingham Trent University, doing Forensic Science. Would have done it in Finland if it would be possible (one would have to become a police officer first and work and then specialice, rikospaikkatutkijaksi). If he doesn't come to Nottingham I'll go wherever else he goes in UK. xD Hopefully could be able to go to more than once. Manchester is closer than London geographically, but the bus journey is almost the same than to London because of the mountainy road (which was a bit scary looking) with slow speed limits. Though staying in London for a night is probably a bit more expensive than in Manchester, at least one would think so. Kiva et voi myös puhuu suomee, mut englanti tulee aika helposti ainakin jos on aivot ajattele-englanniksi-moodilla. xD Haven't bought any of the albums or DVD's yet, but about to go through record shops in the city centre, probably tomorrow, to see if I can get the ones I want a bit cheaper than on Play.com although the prices there aren't too bad either. (Josh Groban, Closer and Awake CD's for £5, Awake live CD/DVD £11.99, Awake Special Edition with bonus DVD £12.99 (prefer this over the regular CD because of the couple extra songs and the bonus DVD so will most likely get this one) and then Live at the Greek for £13.99) Especially when they are much cheaper to order in £'s than in €'s and the exchange rate is still quite good. If I can't find them in the shops will ask my mom (whose credit card details I have on Play.com xD) if I could buy some stuff from there as a birthday present for myself because my birthday was in January and got no gifts as I had already come back to Nottingham from Christmas holiday. Will try to infect my mom when I go home for Easter holiday. xD Though she's not good in English but you don't really have to understand what he's singing to understand how beautiful the voice is. Psyched about being auntied. :P Forensic Science, watched a tad too much CSI, huh? Seriously speaking, sounds sooooooo interesting. How long have you been studying there? I'd also recommend checking out HMV, I made some serious discoveries while living in Dublin. They're sending me offers all the time in my email, maybe they have some Josh's CDs on sale too? Check it out. Tää onkin tämmönen sekaketju, kumpi tulee paremmin ulos, suomi vai englanti. Ja jos joku muukin käy kurkkimassa niin tietääpä mistä täällä puhutaan. Sitä Ellenin Josh-lähetystä kai edelleen ootellaan Liviltä tulevaks? Subi alotti just Conan-uusinnat, ehkäpä nekin näyttää Joshin vierailun. Jimmy Kimmelissäkin vois tulla jossain vaiheessa, en ole Jimmya viime aikoina tosin seurannu. Mutta eiköhän näitä... Yle kai näytti Grammyt taannoin, mutta eihän Josh tänä vuonna esiintyny siellä. Oi se viimevuotinen esitys oli niiiiin hyvä...

Posts: 4 (02/27/09 07:40:43) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Friend Block Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Well I wanted to be a police officer since I was 7 (I'm now 21), but it was more of a dream because they used the have the height limit, so CSI did influence doing it more in the science point of view and I love sciences (and maths xD). Wouldn't probably get to the police academy in Tampere even though they don't have the height limits anymore but my eyesight without glasses most likely falls below the requirement (and I'm not in a good enough physical shape, but that could always be worked on). Studying my 1st year, it's 3 year course or 4 with a work placement year between years 2 and 3. Will try to get a placement in Finland to kidna get my 'foot in' the industry with a degree that's not available in Finland. What I've undestood is that there are quite many possible careers with this degree, not just within a police department, like with insurance and environment etc. I have checked HMV and the prices aren't much different. But will go see the shops. Is the Liv some kind of a new channel? I'll probably have to check the program infos online for Conan and Kimmel. Haven't seen the Grammy performance, but Josh's Emmy performance was phenomenal. Like all the different voices matching the show's original theme and the comedic factor especially with the X-files thing. Not to forget the facial expressions during the South Park theme.
