OH MY GOOD GOLLY JOSH I MET HIM AND IT WAS SO COOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!http://x63.xanga.com/cf0d2b64c7530112115873/z79924483.bmp
And the rest of the concert was so cooooooooooooooooooool! Like when he was on the stairs and the spotlight was on my part of the audience, it looked like was grinning at me because I was waving at him everytime the spotlight was on us. The special affects were amazing and at the end of the concert, he got a jersey that said 'GROBAN NEW YORK '07'
Okay so after the concert, I wlaked out with my dad and I was talking to my sister on my dad's cell phone and we were both talking about if we could Josh at the BACK~ENTRANCE! AND OKAY ! LOL THERE WAS AN ENTRANCE AND I asked a lady if that's where Josh would be coming out of, and she said supposedly. But it was the place where his stage stuff where coming out into trucks and stuff. His driver said that he probably left already. AND HERE'S THE THING, I was ready to turn around but then I looked up to the 12:00 AM Manhattan sky and prayed to Hashem that he would show. I wasn't ready to give up. And my prayers and determination were answered *WINK*, for a guard said he would be coming out of another way and there was like 16-20 people a small group, or like our little Grobanite family headed out to the back entrance and it was sooo late and we were wating like, forever lol. I met this lady who has been a fan of Josh for 6 years and met him 3 times already and I said to her and her friends
Me:"I really admire your loyalty lol. You're staying out this late, I want him to show too, but he might not."
And they said "Hey, you're out too!"
Me: "Yeah lol."
And they said:"I admire your father's patience."
And it's true it was like close to 12:10 AM and I was sleepy and guess what?! A truck came by and a long large cardboard plank from the stage, fell of the truck and sat on the road.
Then this fangirl ran up to it LOL and used chewed gum EWWW LOL and pasted a mask of Josh's face onto it and used a sharpie to draw a body WITH HIM WITH NO CLOTHES LOOOOOOL *DROOL X3* I can't believe it was from the stage!!!!!!!! and then the guard said he would be out in about 45 minutes. I couldn't believe it but I was ready to wait that long. I had a like a small convo with one of the fnagirls who didn't know and said "OMG LOL IMAGINE IF HE SEES THIS?!" "I KNOW RIGHT?! "
THEN, A BLACK VAN CAME BY,
AND EVERYONE INCLUDING ME AND MY DAD SCREAMED,
AND I MET HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND I HE WAS LIKE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND TO GET HIS ATTENTION I CALLED HIM "JOSHY!" LIKE I DID WITH "WAYNEY" And the thing is, I didn't praise his singing, I told him that I really admire his charity work I think he said thanks
But\.........i think he was a little nervous because a few seconds after I kissed him on his neck, he was well...staring at me. I smiled him like I did when Bambi smiled at the Great Prince in the first Bambi movie but then he looked away from me. *sigh* I feel stupid.
And my dad and I walked off happily! But next time I see him, I vow not to scare him and I heard he loves all his fans. I kept complaining about this to my dad, and he said, "Well of course he looked tierd and worn out! You try performing for 90 minutes straight!" Well he proabaly thinks I'm crazier than a horses backside. I hope not... Anyway, that was an expirence AND IT WAS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!~!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'LL NEVER FORGET "I LOVE YOU JOSH!" "I LOVE YOU TOO!"
I remember this one so well! AND A DAY LATER, I TOOK OFF MY SIMBA SHIRT WHEN I WAS CHANGING INTO MY PAJAMAS I FOUND A HAIR ON MY SIMBA
SHIRT AND IT WAS LONG AND BOUNCY AND IT DIDN'T MATCH ANY OF THE HAIRS IN MY FAMILY'S SO IT WAS JOSHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nassau Colliseium 7/25/07
HI PEOPLE THE CONCERT WAS GREAT! I said I love you but he didn't hear it. lol. There were the same songs but this time I related to them I wasn't
so very hyper to see Josh. Okay so my dad and I came late and found Angelique singing. We got some food and he sang but went in the audience far away from me.
But he saw me smiling. LOL To be honest I thought the concert was rather
short O_O. Okay so when the concert ended we were waiting outside a parking lot for him to come out. I met a few wierd but cool people lol. And I made a
picture of Josh and Simba saying feel better because I heard he had a sore throat and he sounded a bit too at the concert. So when the concert was done we went
to a parking lot by some fences and waited for Josh to come out. He came out of his tour bus and GUESS WHAT! THE BOUNCER GUY SAID HE WOULD BE
SIGNING ON THE OTHER SIDE BUT AS SOON AS JOSH CAME OUT, HE LOOKED STRAIGHT AT ME AND GRINNED AND ME AND WENT TO SIGN ON MY SIDE! WHEN HE CAME TO ME I GAVE HIM THE PICTURE AND HE SIGNED ON IT
AND I WENT "NO NO! LOL IT'S FOR YOU!" AND HE LAUGHED AND SAID "OH I'M SIGNING IT FOR MYSELF LOL"
AND THE COUNCER GUY TOOK IT LOL. AND SINCE I WAS SO NERVOUS I SAID "MAY YOU SIGN THIS?" INSTEAD OF "CAN YOU SIGN THIS?" AND I TOLD HIM MY NAME IS LAURA AND HE SAID "HI LAURA!"
(That's me under the lady's digital camera. The one holding that blue pen lol. Special thanks to Kaitlyn on facebook. I forgot her last name)
AND I AKSED HIM TO PERHAPS HE COULD WRITE TO LAURA ON MY RYTHMN OF THE PRIDELANDS BOOKLET. (SINCE IT HAS TO DO WITH SOUTH AFRICA BUT I DON'T THINK HE EVEN KNOWS WHY I KEEP ASSOCIATING SIMBA WITH HIM LOL) AND I MENTIONED FIDDLER ON THE ROOF TO HIM AND HE SAID "OH YEAH I WAS A SKINNY TEVYE THEN!" AND I ASKED IF MAYBE HE COULD SING IF I WERE A RICH MAN AND HE LOOKED AT ME FOR A SECOND AND SAID "OH I'M DONE SINGING FOR THE NIGHT" THEN HE SAID "HAVE A GOOD NIGHT" Too polite O_o but that's sweet. Speaking of that his dog Sweeny jumped onto the bus lol. AND I WENT TO SEE HIM OFF AND WHEN I CAME ONTO THE OTHER SIDE TO SEE HIM HE LOOKED RIGHT AT ME AGAIN o_O. I think it was because I was the youngest in the whole crowd. Am old lady called me a little girl. Which I like being called lol. AND HIS KEPT GRINNING AND SMILING THE WHOLE TIME AND HIS BROWN EYES WERE SERIOUSLY SPARKLING!
Heard him at Rockefellar Center tow nights ago 11/28/07 (I hope this is a Josh encounter)
We walked around the plaza and saw a police guy on his horse and the horse was running! It was so cute! And then we were (once again) jammed in yet another mob. But this time we could see a little screen of what it would be to watch on your home tv. BUT that didn't matter! Because while we were waiting I thought like 78% sure we saw a celebrity I met and liked for a long time. So then my sister and I heard the famailar rythmn to "Little Drummer Boy" and then after that came "O Come All Ye Faithful" (I thought it was O Holy Night at first) and we went nuts!!!!!!!!!! It was my sister's first time hearing Josh live! I wanted to see if I could see the stage so I stood on the railing on the fence and it was breathtaking! Even though we couldn't see the stage and people were yelling to the cops to let them out of the mob and admist all the talking and people smoking,....it was beautiful. When I stood on the railing the cold wind was blowing in my face and JOSH'S VOICE ECOHED OFF THE BUILDINGS AND TRAVELED ON THE WIND! It was beautiful hearing "pa rum pa rum pum" and his booming "CHIRST IS THE LORD!!!!!!!!!" echoing in the wind! I do kind of wish I hadn't tried to call my parents and my friend because I wanted to take in everything. I had been thinking about my grandpa's death that was in April and I realized that we should take in everything around us. While Josh's voice echoed on the wind and choed off the buildings, I suggested my sister and I to close our eyes and take in Josh's voice so we could remember this moment forever. I mean, all the singers we heard but Josh's voice was BOOMING and STRONG. It was like his voice was carried on the wind to inspire all those listening! So when Josh was done singing, my sister and I wanted to find some place to eat so we pushed out of the mob and into the street.
We found a Dwayne Read and got some stuff including a camera. I feel kind of bad, though, because if we had the camera I would have a picture of Josh on the big screen! Oh well. While we ate in the lobby of the drugstore we heard Celine Dion singing and Carrie Underwood. Then when we were done, we went out just in time to see THE TREE LIGHT UP! It was beautiful and even though Christmas is not my holiday it was a beautiful sight to see. Everyone so excited and cheering and counting down. But I was sad. And I still am. That tree had animals and wildlife living in it and they killed the tree too when they cut it down. So not only is that tree dead, the animals who lived in it had lost thier homes too. Earlier my sister and I had sent an email about using an artifical tree but they didnt get back to us. So my sister walked around to the plaza to see if Josh would come out somewhere. But it was cold and it was only getting colder. And so when it all emptied out, my sister and I stood on the stage where the celebrites sang! (But not Josh. I found that out later. ) But some worker guy chased us off lol but we took pictures of the stage and the waterfalls and the rink (WHERE JOSH SANG). We found out that we couldn't ice skate because Josh sang on a stage on the ice rink and if we had come early we could have seen him! We were probably the only bystander who stood on that stage! . To make a long story short, we didn't see Josh after all because my sister was getting cold and he proabably left already and went back to his hotel. I was really disapointed and we saw a little black horse from a carriege that wanted to come over to me. . I feel sorry for them! They have to walk people around manhattan in this freezing weather.
Well that's basiclly it LOL, when my sister and I got home we watched Josh's performance on tv that my dad had recorded and we kept saying and pointing to the tv " WE WERE THERE! WE WERE IN JOSH'S AREA!" And we also discovered a proabable reason why we didn't see Josh. Now that we were watching Josh on the tv, we saw Josh had bags under his eyes! He looked exhaausted but happy! Very happy. The Little Drummer Boy song he sang kept saying that Josh's gift to the world is music. I had such a good time even though we didn't see Josh. By the way if you look closley at his curls, they look like a maze and full of secrets
Ah heh heh heh. See ya
