never posted in this thread before, but I just wnated to share this special story with you .... I been trying to get a whole bunch of pillowcases made and I
had to learn that these days, people still haven't learned that it is so much more forfilling to give than to take.
I ran into this wonderful lady that has a very big heart for kids and who is always willing to help. I went to her with only in hope of her advice where to go
( she works at a store) to find somebody with big hearts.....
With no hesitation she offered me to sew the pillowcases ( since I am a hopeless case), just to help out, to give back.......
She since than been sewing about 30 pillowcases and to some people that might not be much, but to my daughters and me she is a blessing.
She never asks for anything back and when I picked up a big load of pillowcases last week, I was almost ashamed that I didn't have anything to give back I
took my daughter with me. She said something that touched me deep inside my heart: " helping making these pillowcases for these kids is a blessing and it
lifts my spirits. I was put here to help you out to share my blessing and turn it into more blessings.....
My husband and I always try to teach our children that it is such a wonderful feeling and a blessing to give back, but to hear it from somebody else really got
to her and she is really proud in being my helper...
It is amazing that sometimes when you think oyu are alone and that nobody will help you to get up you will find that person in the least expectiung places and
being touched in your heart by this strangers kindness, just makes it wonderful.
So I wanna thank you guys and of course Josh for just showing me that people still care and that miracles still happen. Thank you for inspiring me and my
children and for being a part of showing the world that kindess still exists
Sorry for making this such a long letter, but I hope that my story but a smile on your heart as it put one on mine

Good morning, it's Janice checking in. Just wanted to say Hi to Sharon (lostinCarlos) and thank you for coming to the CWL team.
We have made deliveries to three hospitals thus far in 2008: Women and Children's Hospital in Buffalo, NY; Dayton Childrens Hospital, Dayton, OH; and the
Oakland Children's Hospital, Oakland, CA. Next week we will make a delivery to the Children's Hospital of L.A. and will finish up the year in
November with a delivery to the Shriner's Hospital in Salt Lake City. The ladies on this Team have come through is such a big way again this year for
the children. They are putting in hours producing beautiful beanies and blankets for the kids and have the help of wonderful volunteers who are donating
yarn to keep them busy. These yarn angels are a very important part of the team; don't know where we'd be without them.
We will have a little break after November, although most of our group continues to crochet and knit to stockpile items for the coming deliveries in 2009.
If you'd like to be a part of this wonderful project, we'd love to hear from you. Come on over to www.tendertotes.org and check it out. We'd love to hear from you.

Stopping by to say Hi to Melanie and Margy in case you are reading here. We're so happy to have you join the Covered With Love Team. So far in
2009, Annika has delivered 160 hand made beanies to the children's hospital in Stockholm, Sweden (the first GFC international project); and today for
Josh's birthday, Janet delivered 520 beanies and 70 blankets to the Texas Children's Cancer Center. WOOHOO!!! It's going to be another good
year for the children. Thanks to all who contributed to these deliveries.
