I love to watch him skate! He skates with as much passion as Josh sings, it is literally poetry in motion.
I do have to admit though, I find my eyes wondering with this pic ..... they don't always stay up around his face.

Toni, you like him, too? What a nice surprise so many people diss him for so many reasons, I'm always happy to hear from someone who doesn't!
(I had a great weekend, thank you, it was sunny and warm-ish, no rain, we spent two relaxing days together, me and Kata. Her hubby is a great guy, too, their two girls were away for the weekend so it was more quiet than usual, but their dog made up for that, haha!) As for the eye candy, Zhenya has one of the most amazing bods in the skating field. And because you guys are sweet enough not to hate me for flooding the thread with more Zhenya- 
Must admit it is NOT the face. Definitely not the face. Even though there is a lot for me to see on his face, too. *blush* Not to mention THIS one. *cough* (The blonde in the background is now his wife, btw, they adore each other.) 
And one just for us who like to see a handsome curvy back of a man. Haha. 
I hope the heir of Wyatt won't poof the thread for the centre pic. It's just a man, right?

My sweetheart is going away for more than a week tomorrow... I hate the thought... I can't help it. *sniffle* I plan to write and clean the house and make soups for myself and go to the gym but- being alone SUCKS especially if you're living with someone.

Blending: Well, if I want to take a pic of Josh and place it into a different background, I take a soft edged brush and start erasing AROUND the Josh-edge. But that's sg you already know, and you are getting better and better at it! The "official" belnding modes are SO easy. Just one click of the mouse. On the right, at the layer opacity, there's a little box that says "normal", usually. If you open the drop-down menu there, you will see a bunch of different things: darken, multiply, screen, lighten, etc etc. Try them out, all of them. Pick a Josh pic of the same size as the background, or make it the same size as your background. Put the Josh pic ABOVE the background and then experiment with the blending modes! You will see, it's a WHOLE new world of digital design!!! Sometimes you will like the effect but the opacity of the layer will have to be changed. Or, the brightness/contrast of it. Experiment! Have fun with it!
Evgeni's name is pronounced "Yevgenee" where the "n" is softened, like the "net" in Russian. Plushenko is said "Plooshenko".
Yes, he skates like no one else. I am terribly excited about this skating season!!! My swetie is leaving for the airport in an hour or so. Bah. oday when I go home, it will be to an empty house. Only two cats. Boohoo...

You know THAT picture up there should have a fricking warning sign! And the picture below that..sigh.... such a welltrained muscular backside (lets see if that gets by the spam filter) Male figure skaters and male horse jumpers have very much the same sort of muscles. Did I mentioned I did riding before? MIght have to snag some pictures from here before they change teh forum in a week or so...would NOT like to miss out on these pictures..lol Thanks Krisz Malin PS. I never managed to see Evgen skate IRL. I used to live in a small town far up in fricking Sweden. We get local hockey. Then I did a 18 months stint in Stockholm, Sweden, but most skating competitons is being held in Gothenburg. And then I been in the US for the last 5 years and Evgeni has been off the circut for some time. I do watch all performances I can on TV or YouTube though. Right now we have a channel that is called Universal sports that has been alternating Cup of Russia, Gymnastics and Triathlon the last few weeks, so I managed to watch all the top skaters there.

I guess I'm too scared, I don't want to see him in any other format than pretective, nic, magical, huggable, kissable Zanny Josh...I tend to get scared
easy and someone that I like going from how I know/love them to "evil clone" would scare me for life...I just can't bring myself to do that.
PS Why doesn't Evegni (sp) skate anymore?

Evgeni had to stop skating because he ruptured tendons in both knees and needed surgery. He also had issues with his back.
So after the Olympics in Turino, he was laid up for surgery and recovery. From experience with knee surgery, is that you more or less sit still and gain weight from the painkillers (even though skating and getting a gold on 2 broken knees must be more painful...) for a month and then you can slowly start bending again. When you change the entire kneejoint, you get put in a machine that keep beinding the joint for a few hours every day and you increase it until the body says no. It is very rare that you ever get up to previous capacity. So to see Evgeni come back after years of not skating professionally, he has only done a few shows to my knowledge the last year (Krizs probably knows better) AND swipe the ice with the people who never stopped... and with such margin as he did in Cup of Moscow is nothing less then a miracle. During the time he was off the ice he helped get the Winter games to Sochi, Russia, he helped Russia win the Eurovision song contest by scating on the smallest piece of ice ever created...lol and do that gracefully. On the Universal sports channel I have on TV, he spoke a few words (in English!) about his skating now in Moscow. He said he felt that he was only at 70% capacity, that he didn't feel that all the gracefulness was back yet (jaw drop). He also came back to pro skating when he noticed that Russia wasn't placing top 3 in any major competitions (don't know is that was jokingly or not...from the way you read articles you never know if it is serious or not) But he seem to have a wonderful dry sense of humor that appeals to me. Plus those blue eyes. And just to brag, my husband has teh same shapely behind as he has....hehehe Malin

Oh wow thank u for the info, he sounds like the Josh Groban of the Skating world! He sounds like he has many talents that he doesn't mind using. I love
watching ice-skaters but I never really "follow" them, when the Tonya Harding-Nancy Kerrigan thing happened that was all we heard about bc Tonya was
from Portland, Oregon (I'm from Oregon too) and she disgraced the Skating Profession in my book, she really stooped pretty low. But the others are gorgeous
to watch, and the ladies' outfits always caught my eye bc they glitter and flow. I want a dress like that when I get thinner. I love watching Disney on
Ice, too. I hope Evgeni comes back full-force, I bet he'd take some more gold. I might go Youtube him and see what he does.

You did riding? Lovely... why did you stop? I love horses, I have this dream that I work with horses... dunno. They attract me. I have never been on a horse or even worked in a stable or anything. I just have this feeling of being drawn to them. It's great to find a fellow Plush-fan, really nice thanks for coming out for me hahaha!

Siena, I second what Sophie says. Sophie is also a very sensitive young woman, she has always been like that and will always never change, I hope- so if she
likes Glee, TRUST me, you will, too.
Josh is NOT evil in it... he's just FUNNY. Silly funny. Just like the rest of the gang.
Sophia, my favourite character has to be SUE by now. God I hated her. She is my favourite. Her lines crack me up!!!! LOOOOOL!!! Malin, exactly. I keep forgetting what a miracle it is that Evgeni is skating in the first place. Back in 2005 it looked like he would have to skip the Olympics. After that, the surgery came and he stopped competing... but not skating. I have seen him in good shape, and worse. And now, he says he's 70%- jaw drop indeed- what the heck will happen at, say, 90%??????? He came back after 3 years, and like you said, got points as high as those who never left. This has never happened before... everyone who returns to competitions usually drops behind the current competitors. As a rule. Evgeni seems to be the one exception, and the entire world is applauding his effort. Krisz PS: Your hubby must be damn hot, excuse my wording... looooooooool.
