It's March, 2009. We're still here. We're still over at FoJG too. But, JG.com will always be home.

Still here, Barb! I stopped coming here because after they switched to Yuku I could only see 2/3 of the page! The right portion was gone, cut off. Even tech
support couldn't help me. It's better on this posting but I'll have to open another thread and see if it's totally fixed. I loved coming
here. It was my first Josh experience.

I don't know how we are still here. So close to the front. But we are. Must be a tribute to Josh on tour.
Or, just Josh.

Celebrity is a good place, but Gammage has better sound.

Hey,hey. Still here. I saw a weird email from YUKU tonight announcing the merge of JG.com and FoJG.com. Guess it's coming soon. This is going to be
interesting. I hope it brings the two places closer together. I've always hated that "my site is better than your site because..." crap. I
rejoined FoJG a few months ago or maybe last month. Who knows? I took the cheapest package because I already had the stuff they were offering for the mid
tier, and really didn't want the stuff for the most expensive one.
Either way, the AZ grobies are alive and kicking. We will be having our annual holiday party on Dec. 19th. If anyone wants to come, or info on it, please let me know. Josh's cd looks like it will be coming before the end of the year. I hope so anyway. All I am worried about right now, is that he does NOT come to Phoenix during the summer. Unless he comes to Jobing arena. For M&G purposes. If he comes there during the summer, we already have a M&G site picked out. If he comes to AWA for the summer, I don't know what we will do for the M&G. It will be too hot to have it outdoors at Coopers where we did it last time. Guess we'll see. Barb

I WILL keep this thread alive. I remember, in the olden days, Josh was quite impressed with this thread. He talked about it in an interview before he came to
AZ the first time. This was before he had to cancel his show at the Dodge in Phoenix because he was sick. And just before he came to Tucson for his first ever
outdoor venue. Tucson is where I met several Grobies I am still very good friends with. It's where I first met Julie, who later found out she was
preggers at the time of. Her little baby boy Bryce was inducted into the music of Josh before he was ever born. He never had a chance. And today, he loves
Josh. Tucson was where I met Trish and SLC Marilyn. Marilyn had won back stage passes, and told Josh he needed to open one more button on his shirt. He
rowwwled at her, and she rowwwled back. But, after then, he started unbuttoning that top button. It was my first ever flappage too. I was sitting next to a
Grobie and her parents on one side, and a little old lady who's son had brought her to the show for her Mother's Day on the other. They had set up
these big fans on the stage to keep Josh et all cool. Then I saw it. The fan in front of Josh blew his shirt up. And, I remember yelling at the people around
me....."Josh belly!! I saw Josh belly!!!" I was grabbing somebody....I don't remember who. Since then, I have had much better concert seats. I
have actually met Josh in a 1 minute conversation. I've met more Grobies who are now some of my best friends in the world. And it all started in this
thread. So, no way can I let this thread die.
I have gone on to join FoJG. But, soon. Very soon. They are merging the two sites into one. I don't know how it will happen. I don't think anyone does. But, whatever comes, this is my first home of Josh Groban. We're about to go on a ride that none of us know where it will end. All I know is, this will always be my first home. |
