 I'm sooo mad! I can't get on the boards
on FOJG!!  I don't think everyone else is having that problem...I
see lots of people have logged on...grrr!!!
So...how are you doing? How's Bryce? Can't wait to see you in Dec. 
I'm going to play around with pics on here...they keep coming out waaaay too big!  O.K. I think I just figured it out! One is a
pic of my Joshmobile license plate and the other is Darren holding my Josh floss in Denver.

I'm having trouble viewing the whole message on here. It is cutting it off on the right hand side and I don't see any scroll bars.

Haven't been in for a while. Between my problems with my neck hurting so much, and my work schedule, I don't
make time for much of anything.
Jules....what is your My Space account name? I'm finally just now trying to learn how to use it. So far, I have Tariqh, and my friend from Tucson as my friends. Pretty sorry showing. So, send me your acct name so I can add you as my friend. What ever that means??? Even if you are listed as a friend, I'm still not sure how to get to you. I'm sooo puter challenged. Barb

I can see PART of your last post. I had some moderator on Yuku try to
help me but it hasn't made any difference. VERY frustrating. I can't even see all of my OWN posts once it is published. I am not writing on the full screen to see if that helps so it may look funny to anyone else reading it but I gotta try something!! As for MySpace, just search under my first and last name. I have Marilyn as one of MY friends. Nah, nah, nah, nah

Hey! It worked! I just posted to about half the page and I can see
everything. Quite a pain but unless/until someone comes up with a fix this is what I'm gonna do. |

Wow, we are up to 429 pages! I haven't been here in so long and am embarrassed to say I didn't know about Noel until AFTER it came out! OMG!!!

I was in last night to say HI but somehow deleted my own post.
 I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Now, Christmas will be here in no
time, then a whole new year. One year closer to retirement for me! YAY!
Terry and I are hoping to get a new puppy here in the next couple of days. If I could figure out to post pictures here, I would post a pic of her. But, we're very excited. We haven't had a dog in a lot of years, and we've really missed that. It will be nice now, since Terry is retired and the baby won't have to be cooped up all alone for hours while we work. OK. I'm gone. Barb

I'm baaack! Terry and I got our puppy!! She's soooo cute. Dang!! I wish I could figure out how to post a
picture! Her name is Jazz. She's 10 weeks old. Well...maybe 11 weeks by now. I'll have to ask Marilyn how to add a pic. Cause I reallywant everyone to
see her.
 I swear, I never knew a grown woman could say poop-poop and
pee-pee so many tims in one day! But, she has been with us a week now,
and I think she is starting to get the idea about going outside to potty. Oh....she's a Sheltie. A mini collie. And she is a bundle of energy. I just
finished working a week of night shifts, and it was so cool to come home to a little bundle of love to greet me.
'Kay...that's it. I'll try to figure out how to post pics, and put a pic of her here. I think maybe she's even as cute as Josh!

Puppies are so darling but SO much work. It will be many years before a dog (other than my sister's which some of you got to see) is in my life. Bryce
torments the cat enough as it is. Good thing she's declawed cuz I've caught her a couple times giving him a swat. He deserved it, of course and it
scared him and made him cry.

Hi all
I just wanted to say what a great time I had at the dinner. Julie....Bryce is getting so very big! But, it was still so cute to see how he would stop whatever he was doing to watch Josh on a dvd. Then again, he was programmed to be a Josh fan from the very beginning. I remember that you were pregnant with him, and didn't even know it, the very first time we saw Josh in Tucson. What??? May of 2004? Anyhow....it was just great to be with all of our AZ grobies again. Barb

Yes, I was pregnant with Bryce when I first saw Josh live (and met Barb) in Tucson May of 2004. And it was MOTHER'S DAY! Honest. I found out I was
pregnant six days later. If I had known, I probably wouldn't have scrambled up that rocky slope to watch the sound check. Of course, it did allow me to
watch Josh and Jan play Frisbee on the massive grass lawn and to yell "Josh!" when he was about 50' away. Surprisingly enough, he actually
turned around and squinted to see who was yelling at him (he wasn't wearing his glasses) and then wave. Going down that slippery steep slope populated
with a MILLION grasshoppers was the hardest part.
Cool that Arwen Smith, who started this thread, came back on New Year's Eve. Has anyone met this woman? |

Everyone has moved to FoJG. Except Julie. And, she will be moving there soon. I just sent her a subscription for her birthday.
So, it's up to all of oldies to keep this thread going. The AZ Grobie group has grown so much. We have regular get togethers now. We just had one on Saturday. It was soooo much fun. We met at Bucca Di Beppo's in Scottsdale. It was the day before the Superbowl, and it was a madhouse. But, we had so much fun!!! Anyhow, I guess after Julie comes over to the dark side, (FoJG) this thread will most likely become dormant. I promise, I will try and come here every so often just to keep us alive. This thread was here for me when I first found Josh. I had never joined a fan club of any sort. And, I was so intimidated by all the people who seemed to know each other so well. And, in the beginning, I posted very little. It was all so new to me. But, through the years, I have become much more comfortable in knowing all of my friends here. And, I have grown into a die hard Josh fan. Something I was not in the beginning. I remember when this thread was mentioned by Josh in an interview when he first came to Phoenix. Or was going to come. Then, he got sick and had to postpone. I don't even know if Josh himself had been reading the boards, (maybe since he was still not so big then and had much more time to peruse this site) or if it was one of his team. But, in that interview, he mentioned how this thread, the AZ Grobanites thread, was the biggest thread on the boards at the time. And, he was excited to be coming to AZ. Rememeber guys? We used to be the biggest thread on the JG.com boards. And Josh knew who we were. So, this thread can not die. If I am the only person left to post here, it won't. Soooo, if there should be any new AZ Grobies who may stumble onto this thread, and want to get connected to the AZ Grbanites....please PM me. My email addy is listed here on my info. I check in here as often as I can remember to. I will get in touch with you. We (the AZ Grobies) are always ready to welcome new people into the fold. All you have to do, is reach out. Barb
