I'm sure there are opinions of Michael Jackson that run the gamut from love to repulsion, but this final tribute to him as
a talented performer is really wonderful and well done. I urge you to see it if you get the chance. He was amazing, at 50, singing and dancing better than
kids half his age and rocking all the songs he sang 20 (and 30) years ago just as hard as he did back then. The show in London would have been a fabulous
comeback, had he lived. It was a bittersweet experience, watching him, along with hundreds of young performers, rehearsing hard for this incredible
extravaganza that was never to be. So glad they filmed all these hours of rehearsals.
I loved Michael's early stuff, but like a lot of people, lost interest in the 90's, but this movie will give you a new respect for his professionalism and kind nature - and will leave you in awe of his talent and quest for perfection in all the details of this comeback show.
JMO of course, but thought I'd throw this out there, in case you were on the fence about seeing it. I'm going again before it's gone!
