I wrote a new poem and did a new wallie. This isn't telling YOU to "let me be me" but all the ppl who try to change me and make me not love u, all the ppl who hate me bc I'm fat, stupid, and ugly, I can't help those thgs (the fat part I am trying to work on tho u seen me, 12 days as of today and I plan to keep it up.) so I wrote one about the conformists trying to change and mold me...kinda like Michael's song Will You Be There. So this is to all THOSE ppl. I will never ever change Josh Groban in any way, he is him, I am me, but I can love him w/ all my heart.

Let Me Be Me

Don't try to change or mold me
don't let these heavy chains hold me.
Let me have a bit of space
to find my own special place.

I will not change you
or try to control you
I would never make you be
anything you aren't already.

I just want to be myself
not have someone set me on a shelf
because I'm not something they can use
or because I can't fill someone else's shoes.

I am my own person with my own special needs
I am a different kind of tree with very different seeds.

I have no magic powers that I can flaunt about
I have no golden voice to open up and sing or shout.
I have no great problem solving skills
I cannot plant a garden upon a Hobbit's Hill
but I can be creative and spin a trinket at my will
I can gather words and write them with a quill.
I can dream and spin a tale for you
I can paint a picture of Princess dressed in frill,
or I can craft a tiny treasure
with love that no ruler can measure.

But I cannot be something someone else
would order me to be
I can only be the person that I know is me.
I can love you with a heart that breaks so fragilely
and I can fight for you with a temper raging angrily
I can stand beside you and hold your honor high
and I can be the loyal friend that's with you till I die.

But all I ask is one thing you see
just to love me for who I am and let me be me.
I will never change you
I will not control or make of you
something you can't be
for that's true love you see
and I can only be the person
you see before you now.
the love I have in me
has always been there somehow
but I've always been afraid to show you.
I'd love to get to know you
and I hope it's not a scare
to know that I may be different
but I do know how to care
for what you see inside this heart
has always been there.

Did you hear that Michae cancelled/postponed some of his concerts? I hope he will be able to go through his tour, health-wise... I'm thinking of him and I hope he'll be fine.
