When I was your age I had ideals, like you. Dreams. I was living in a dream-world. I thought everyone was good, and helpful, and everything is easy. I had a loving family behind my back and I was sheltered from harm, it was easy for me. My ideals and dreams live on even now, but I have learnt to accept that NOT EVERYTHING IS EASY... in fact, EVERYTHING'S DIFFICULT. Especially making your dreams come true. Dealing with people is difficult, raising a family is difficult, finding a job is difficult, saving money to stay alive is difficult, keeping friends is difficult, living your dreams- it is difficult. Because the world tends to put obstacles before you. As a test. To see how much do you want that dream? Just a little? Or very much? If very much, you will not get discouraged at the first try. You will give it a second, third, tenth, twentieth try. I'm serious!!! Do you know that the biggest writers in this world had to face serious criticism, negative feedback and closed doors when it came to their first work being published? Most big authors are faced with that. Just like most big actors, artists, everyone who is talented in any way and wants to put their work out there. It's a big big Colosseum with gladiators in it and tigers and all, and you are supposed to stay alive in there. It's scary! But if you're strong and you hold onto your dream, you WILL realize it. Not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But someday, you will. Think of this experience as your first step you took, it was a big step, an important step. At such an early age, it was a giant step! Give yourself some time, to let the anger go away a little, and start focusing on your dream again. Focus on the positive thoughts. "I want to be a voice actor. I will be a voice actor. No matter what it takes, I will become one. No one and nothing can talk me out of this." Who cares that they said you're not suitable for *them* *now*? You see, it's just a matter of timing and placing. Someone else may have told you sg different. That you're young and very passionate about this and let's give it a try. You never know! This was ONE opinion. Not that of all voice acting schools.
