I never watched the series of SITC, and I have no desire to see the movie either. Now the big buzz is on whether Brangelina has whelped yet. Two words for that too --- WHO CARES??

I am still a MacGyver girl (really old girl).
Edward Cullen is a vampire in a book series. Soon to be a movie of some sort. I've never read any of it. Have to get the stack of books I have now read before I get any more.

Did I hear MacGyver?? HECK YES! I watched Stargate SG1 too. I love love love love that series, 10 YEARS! The first 6 were the best! Then it got all wierd.
I'm also a Star Trek Voyager fan. Like the space stuff. We talked about this earlier, but, I'd like to mention that, being a non talk show lover, I have found one that I can truly laugh genuinely to, Paul O'Grady show. I just saw the latest interview with Josh just last night and I laughed my head off! He's funny! Anyway...... ~Kamila |

Yes, as much as I love Brad Pitt, I am a little tired of Brangelina. I was in line at the supermarket and grabbed one magazine that is now giveing them a hard
time about what they feed their kids. Sick of Brittany Spears and her sister also.
Just venting. How was Josh on Ellen, Leno and Kimmel? I have them all taped, but have no idea when I will watch it. Have a fun weekend. Barb |

Yeah, I had heard Edward Cullen's name over and over again and I naivly thought that he was just another Zach Efron or something. This is not so. He's
actually a vampire, though saying that scares me because I don't want to turn anyone off by saying that. He's a wonderful character that Stephenie
Meyer created in the book Twilight. She continued and wrote three more books, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn (which comes out 8.8.08). The movie Twilight
comes out 12.12.08.

There's a girl where I work who's getting all the staff addicted to the Twilight series. I haven't read any yet though! She has a facebook group
and they have t-shirts and everything....and there's a group called "If a million people sign up I will change my name to Edward Cullen". They
sound kind of like Grobanites........

Gotta say, if I was going to like a vampire that much, and that is a big IF --- I would pick Mick the bloodsucker from Moon Light. He is really cute. He could
snuggle up to my neck any time - LOL!!

Yes, He was so HOT! and they cancelled the series. morons. Good heavens! New Amsterdam is gone too. Yet crappy shows keep making it to the new season. Cullen
is only a 17 year old forever. Mick you can just sit and stare at. Kind of like MacGyver, who still makes me giggle.
I didn't like Voyager. Loved Next Generation after the first season. Don't know if I am going to like the new movie either. Let's hope it's not too reimagined like Battlestar Galactica. Loved the original series. Can NOT stand the new one. Everyone keeps saying how good it is and just want to cattle prod them. It's horrible. I was rooting for the Cylons after the first hour of the pilot. The characters are such horrible people. I had no sympathy for them and just could not identify with them at all.

Ah, crap! The quality of shows on TV is pathetic, and it is not getting better. Nothing but stupid reality shows.
I hope Alex O'Loughlin finds another show to be on. He is too cute to not be around.

Thank goodness for baseball, and PBS. I LOVE Numb3ers, also, along with SVU, Criminal Minds, Ghost Whisperer, The Hour, and a new Canadian show called The
Border. It is not on right now, but I hope they bring it back next year. Best show CBC has come up with for a long time.

Hi everyone
There is a'"Moonlight" thread on FOJG and it is rumored that USA and Sci-Fi channel might be interested in picking up the series. I hope so , I loved the show and I loved vampire Mick. CBS is so wierd. I love the show"The New Adventures of Old Christine. Julia Louis Dryfus won an emmy for the show and CBS cut it down to half a year. Hope their ratings go way down. I lost interest in TV since the writers strike. I am having trouble getting back into some of the shows I used to like. I am not too into reality shows, but I do like Dancing with the Stars and American Idol( once they weed out the truly awful singers) I have heard so much about it, I picked up Twilight yesterday. It would be nice if someone picks up Moon Light - it is one of those shows that really needs to cultivate an audience. Hard to do with the strike, and never
being on because they didn't have many reruns for it.
My sister likes Dancing With the Stars - I am not into any of them. I think all American Idol has on there are lousy singers and truly awful judges. And Canadian Idol is even worse - ugh!!

I love Numb3rs, Criminal Minds, All Saints (Aussie medical drama), Bones (when they bother showing it), and the occasional news program. There's also a
couple of Aussie music quiz shows that are hilarious.
I largely detest reality TV and I'd skin my own eyeballs before I watched Big Brother. No wonder society is so stupid. The occasional episode of So You Think You Can Dance does me fine 
Never watched Sex And The City, mostly because I was always busy when it was on, and you can't just start watching something halfway through, you don't know what's going on. Also, don't get me started on how it blathers on about "female empowerment" when all it does is glorify women acting like total sluts and exhibiting completely irresponsible spending habits. That said, I will go and see the movie. But ONLY for the shoes. I'll never be perfect, and life would be aesthetically beautiful but really damn boring, if everybody was. Even the best make mistakes - remember, a lone amateur built the Ark, and a large group of professionals built the Titanic

Having Moonlight would be great. At least there are other choices nowadays when a show is cancelled. I think it only had 16 episodes too. I like the first few
eps of Idol when the "idiots" are singing. It's after that I lose interest. I like Marc Devigne who came in second or whatever in Canadian Idol.
I just don't watch reality shows. They are so boring and really are scripted. I do enjoy the "house" ones on PBS. Frontier house, 1600's
house, etc. The Alaska experiment is interesting too. I think that would be so much fun. Insane, but fun.
