I just got Awake Live and it is great
I love it
Josh seems to interact with the audince more than his last tours, which I'm glad to see
And his dog Sweeny is just too cute
What I really hate is that this amazing tour did not make on stop in FL
Josh, if you're reading this, next time you tour, please make a few stops on FL, mainly the centeral part

I just bought my Awake Live DVD/CD (with extras---yea!!!) today & my husband & I watched it this evening. We turned the lights off, lit some candles & we enjoyed it SO MUCH! Of course, you have to turn the sound way up, too, to make it seem like an actual concert experience. It was just amazing. It was just the "ultimate" Josh concert. Our only complaint was that we couldn't see it in person! By far, his best yet. We were just bowled over. Josh, you just outdid...

I didn't have the possibility to see Josh on this tour, but still I got the feeling as I was there...that is very hard to do.

I saw the Closer tour and loved it, but since my Closer copy has such lousy sound, it is a rarely watch DVD. But I love the Awake one.
Worth the wait and will enjoy it at nights when David are working.

I actually enjoyed the fan interactions they decided to leave in this DVD and thought it was "superior" to LATG (sorry if I'm wrong; I've have yet to refresh my memory, so I'm just recalling); Although, LATG EXTRAS might edge out AL, but I don't know, because the AL stuff are still so fresh.

The DVD as a whole was great, but IMO, Live at the Greek puts this one to shame as far as funny moments and fan interaction.

Really, really great DVD. I am always so proud of him! I just love it! Favorite parts are Don't Give Up, Alla Luce Del Sole (my all time favorite Joshie song), Lucia doing Kashmir, and the walk through when he holds the little girl's hand and sings directly to her! Priceless!

I have the store-bought edition, and I'm really happy with it. I just wish they would have included Not While I'm Around --...

Haven't read this whole thread, and am waiting for my copy to arrive, but thought I'd let you know that Amazon.ca, as well as a few other Canadian stores is selling Awake Live for only $13.99 cdn...

I may just pick up a few extra copies at this price!

hello everyone! thank you all who wished me luck on my test my test went well, i think...it'll take 3 months before the results come in so we'll see i guess. it was 8 long hours... i would prefer not to repeat it.

I got the DVD in finally, and it was amazing. but i was so sad and angry that there weren't that many funny moments in it like Not while i'm around, dancing, and karaoke. what's up with...

I got my DVD in the mail yesterday I didn't had the chance to go to any of his concerts, so watching the DVD was great. I felt so energized after !!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it !!!!!!!

Haven't checked all the posts, so I may be repeating this. As I watched the dvd last evening with my husband, I said out loud "Thank you Salt Lake City fans! You were a terrific audience and Josh responded. I could not believe how totally wonderful the dvd was...Of course, I would have loved more, but am so thankful for all that was on it. Apart from the obvious (every phenomenal song) ~

I absolutely and positively want to play with a vocoder now. I don't sing but still want a vocoder! It looked like it could entertain me for hours (OK so I don't get out much).

I got it today! It was extremely AMAZING! his voice, the musicians, the camera angles and high definition, all of it. The only criticism I could give it is that there is no NWIA and that they didn't include the endearing concert silliness that everyone loves! But if you want the ultimate Josh Groban concert experience and can't get to a live show, the next best thing is Awake Live!!!!!

wow.....just wow. i got my dvd on saturday (sorry for not posting sooner heehee). in my opinion it was the best of his concert dvds yet. i loved each and every song and the energy was unbelieveable! some parts that i liked especially were:

You Are Loved: first song performed and just took my breath away!
Lucia's Solo: it blew me away. she has such passion and it definately shows in her work. i loved when the rest of the band joined in too

Awake Live is fantastic! It is my favorite Josh concert DVD thus far. He sounded amazing. Not only does Josh have a captivating voice, but he knows how to entertain an audience as well. Lucia rocked the violin as only she can, and the duet with Angelique was great (It was the first time I had heard Pearls.) I also thought that it was very sweet of Josh to walk all the walk all the way to the back of the audience to sing In Her Eyes. I like how Josh also included songs that are still some of...

I got AWAKE Live the other day and I was SO excited!!!!! I haven't watched it all yet, but I watched about half. That's what happens when you put it on at 10 o'clock at night. Watching it reminded me of the concert and how much fun I had there February Song...AWESOME! I almost cried when I saw him sing that song!
